Locals capture goat thief and hand him over to police in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Locals in Ghodaghodi, Kailali, have taken control of a goat thief and handed him over to the police.

The suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Shankar Bik, a resident of Bichphata, Ghodaghodi Municipality-4.

According to police reports, Bik was caught stealing a goat from the shed of Laxmi Er, a resident of Kauwapur, Ghodaghodi-1, on Monday night around 9 PM.

Following the incident, locals detained Bik and turned him over to the Area Police Office, Shukhad. Police have stated that discussions are currently underway between both parties regarding the matter.
