Youth arrested on charges of raping 14-year-old girl in Bajhang

Bajhang: A youth has been arrested on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl in Bajhang. The District Police Office, Bajhang, has said that 22-year-old Vivek Upadhyay, a resident of Masta Rural Municipality-4, was arrested on Thursday evening on charges of raping the girl.

According to the police, Vivek was living in a tent in Jayaprithi Municipality-10, Chainpur. It is said that the police deployed from the District Police Office, Bajhang arrested Vivek on the basis of a complaint filed by the girl regarding the incident of rape. The police said that necessary investigation is being conducted into the incident.
