Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city distributes uniforms to 1,183 girl students

Dhangadhi: In a significant initiative to support education, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, Kailali, has commenced the distribution of school uniforms to 1,183 girl students from five model schools.
The uniforms are being provided through the Mayor’s Educational Reform Fund, which holds a total deposit of Rs. 5,740,750. According to the secretariat of Mayor Gopal Hamal, the initiative aims to encourage education among girls by ensuring they have the necessary school attire.

Schools and Items Distributed

7.Each student is receiving:

One pair of shirts and pants
1.One pair of trousers and a vest
2.One school bag
3.Two pairs of shoes and socks
4.One suit
5.The distribution at Bhawani Secondary School and Siddhanath Secondary School has already been completed, while the process is ongoing for the remaining three schools.
Collaborative Effort for Educational Reform
The fund was established with contributions from banks, financial institutions, and various organizations, demonstrating a collective effort to enhance educational opportunities.
Mayor Gopal Hamal, Deputy Mayor Kandakala Kumari Rana, ward chairpersons, and people's representatives are personally overseeing the distribution, ensuring the initiative reaches the intended beneficiaries.
