Fire engulfs four homes in Doti, causing over Rs 1 lakh in damages

Doti: A fire broke out in Sayal Rural Municipality-3, Doti, causing damage worth over Rs 140,000 and injuring two cows.

The fire started on Sunday while Padi Bista was cooking on the thatched roof of his one-story house. The flames quickly spread, engulfing the homes of Pratap Bista, Chandra Bista, and Nar Bista, who reside in the same area, according to DSP Bhimlal Bhattarai of the District Police Office, Doti.

Authorities confirmed that the fire was brought under control, preventing further destruction.
