Youth killed in wedding party clash in Bajura

Dhangadhi: A 29-year-old youth lost his life following a violent clash at a wedding party in Motabad, Budhiganga Municipality-8, Bajura. The deceased has been identified as Rana Bahadur Thapa, a resident of Dugritola, Budhiganga Municipality-9.

According to DSP Dilip Kumar Giri of the District Police Office, Bajura, the altercation erupted around midnight on Thursday over a minor dispute related to a fire. The situation escalated when a group of youths from Budhiganga-7 attacked Thapa with a rice threshing pestle, leaving him seriously injured.

He was immediately rushed to Bayalpata Hospital in Achham for treatment but succumbed to his injuries on Friday, DSP Giri confirmed.
