Free integrated family planning camp to be conducted across Baitadi

Baitadi: A free integrated family planning camp is set to be held across Baitadi district from Falgun 11 to Falgun 27.

According to Tirtharaj Bhatta, Chief of the District Health Office, Baitadi, the camp is being organized in coordination with Sunaulo Parivar Nepal to provide family planning services at various health posts in all local levels of the district.

The camp aims to offer free permanent sterilization and long-term temporary family planning devices for eligible couples. Women opting for permanent sterilization will undergo the mini-lap procedure, while men will receive vasectomies. Additionally, the camp will provide 5-year contraceptive implants and 10-year intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUCDs) to those seeking long-term birth control options.
