Customs evasion goods worth over Rs 7 lakh seized in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Authorities in Kailali have seized illegally imported goods worth over Rs 7 lakh, smuggled from India through customs evasion.

A police patrol team from the District Police Office, Kailali, and the Area Police Office, Hasulia, confiscated goods valued at Rs 718,120 from Hasanpur Pipal Chautara, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-5, and Bhitaria, Kailari Rural Municipality-4.

The seized items include clothes, sweets, prasad grains, papads, and other goods.
