Pharmacy owner among two arrested for illegal drug sales in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Authorities in Kailali have uncovered the illegal sale of banned drugs from a local pharmacy, leading to the arrest of two individuals, including the pharmacy owner.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Mesak Chaudhary (38), owner of Emmanuel Pharmacy in Lamkichuha Municipality-4, Ballia, and Amrit Chaudhary (19), a resident of the same area.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kabindra Singh Bohara, the District Police Office, Kailali, seized 17 tablets of Nemedol and 43 tablets of Tramadol from the suspects. Both individuals are currently in police custody, and further investigation is underway.
