Tragic accident: Woman falls to death while cutting grass in Baitadi

Baitadi: A 23-year-old woman lost her life after falling from a cliff while cutting grass in Surnaya Rural Municipality-4, Baitadi.

The deceased has been identified as Deepa Bohara Mahara, a resident of Dabrali Tak. According to local authorities, the tragic incident occurred on Sunday afternoon in Jayasinya, Ward No. 4. Surnaya Rural Municipality spokesperson and Ward Chairman Pratap Singh Mahara confirmed that she died on the spot after the fall.

Deepa's husband is currently in India for employment, leaving behind their eight-month-old son, who is now being cared for by relatives.
