Light snowfall expected in mountainous areas of Far west

Dhangadhi: Light snowfall is likely in high hilly and mountainous regions of the Far West, as well as in Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

While the hilly areas of the Far West, Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces are expected to experience partly cloudy skies on Saturday, the weather will remain mostly clear in other regions. Currently, the country is under the influence of westerly winds, the division stated.

Additionally, fog is expected in some Terai areas, which may disrupt daily life, health conditions, road travel, and air transport. The division has advised the public to take necessary precautions to mitigate any potential impacts.
