Four houses burgled in Baitadi
Baitadi: Four houses in Dilashaini Rural Municipality-5, Baitadi, were targeted by burglars last night, taking advantage of the villagers’ absence due to a death in the community, according to Ward Chairman Yagyaraj Bhatta.
The thefts occurred in the houses of Kashi Giri, Harendra Joshi, Ramdutt Joshi, and Dhanidutt Joshi in Nagaraun, where several valuable copper items were stolen.
From Kashi Giri's house, two copper pots weighing approximately 14 kg and 11 kg were stolen, while Harendra Joshi's house lost a copper pot weighing around 11 kg. Similarly, two copper jars were taken from Ramdutt Joshi's house, and a 13 kg copper pot was stolen from Dhanidutt Joshi's house.
The Gokuleshwor Police Post has been informed, but the culprits remain unidentified. Ward Chairman Bhatta has urged all villagers to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station or ward office.
