Five arrested with brown heroin in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Police have arrested five individuals with brown heroin in Kanchanpur.

Among them, Dal Bahadur Bohara (30), a resident of Alital Rural Municipality-7, Dadeldhura, who was staying in Rajghat, Krishnapur Municipality-9, was taken into custody on Tuesday with 46 milligrams of brown heroin. A joint police team from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Dhangadhi, and the Area Police Office, Raikwar, Kanchanpur, made the arrest.

Similarly, during a search operation at Purnagiri Hotel, operated by Saraswati Kumari Bista (42) of Bhimdatta Municipality-6, four other individuals were apprehended. The arrested include Prakash Singh Dhami (24), son of Saraswati Kumari Bista, Sushil Bista (30) of Shailyashikhar Municipality-9, Darchula, and Govinda Dhami (32) of Malikarjun Rural Municipality-8, Darchula.

A joint police team from the Nepal Police Provincial Office, Mahendranagar, District Police Office, Kanchanpur, and Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Mahendranagar, arrested the four suspects on Tuesday along with 5.23 grams of brown heroin.
