Woman rescued after giving birth on road in Bajura

Bajura: A woman who gave birth on the road while on her way to a health facility in Bajura has been rescued.

Sirjana Bohara, 22, of Gaumul Rural Municipality-3 went into labor while traveling to a health post for delivery. She gave birth on the roadside, approximately an hour away from the health facility.

Following the delivery, female health workers rushed to her aid, carrying her on a stretcher to the Majhpali Basic Health Center. Staff Nurse Sita Khadka confirmed that both mother and child are in stable condition.
