Tipper overturns in Darchula, Driver injured

Darchula: A tipper accident in Naugad Rural Municipality-3 of Darchula has left the driver injured.

The accident occurred on Friday when a tipper (No. 1540) belonging to Indradhanu Hatairaj Construction overturned while dumping soil in Kharkhola along the Dalekh-Gokuleshwor road section. The vehicle plunged 100 meters down, injuring Dev Bahadur Chand, 29, of Surnaya Rural Municipality-1, Baitadi.

Chand was initially treated at Gokuleshwor Hospital before being referred to Dhangadhi for further medical care, according to police reports.
