Barshaman Pun inspects armed police force BOP in Dadeldhura
Dadeldhura: Deputy General Secretary of the CPN-Maoist Center and former Finance Minister Barshaman Pun has inspected the Border Out Post (BOP) of the Armed Police Force in Dadeldhura.
Pun visited the Armed Police Force's BOP in Pari village, Parshuram Municipality-5, located along the Nepal-India border. During the inspection, he commended the Armed Police Force for its efforts in border security and revenue leakage control despite limited resources. He also pledged to contribute towards strengthening and equipping the force with more resources.
Residents of Pari village frequently cross the Mahakali River by boat to reach the Indian border town of Tanakpur for consumer goods, medical treatment, and employment. The 52nd Battalion of the Armed Police Force currently operates five BOPs along the Nepal-India border in Dadeldhura.
