Bir Bahadur Karki elected president of Dhangadhi wholesale traders association

Dhangadhi: Bir Bahadur Karki has been elected as the president of the Dhangadhi Wholesale Traders Association.

A new 13-member working committee was formed under Karki’s leadership during the association’s sixth general meeting held on Saturday. The elected officials include Jayendra Swar as senior vice-president, Binod Kumar Sigdel as vice-president, Yamnath Sigdel as general secretary, Kopila Kunwar as treasurer, and Rekha Bastola as secretary. The committee also includes members Indira Sitaula, Kalpana Poudel, Sushil Shahi, Kamal Subedi, Ramchandra Paneru, Yogendra Bhatta, and Mahadev Bhatta, according to General Secretary Sigdel.

On the same day, the fourth Employee Penalty Shootout Competition was also held. Sudha Bag House secured first place, while Kamalamai Traders and ABR Enterprises claimed second and third positions, respectively. Gaurav Mahato of Kamalamai Traders was awarded the best goal scorer, and Narendra Chaudhary of ABR Enterprises was recognized as the best goalkeeper. Cash prizes and trophies were distributed to the winning players and teams.
