Two absconding individuals arrested in Kailali for forest produce and cheque dishonor cases
Dhangadhi: Police have arrested two individuals in Kailali who were absconding in cases related to forest produce and cheque dishonor.
The District Court Kailali had sentenced Ganesh Sapkota, 35, a resident of Gauriganga Municipality-4, Rajipur, to one month in prison and a fine of Rs 39,666 for the illegal distribution and harvesting of forest produce. Sapkota was apprehended from his residence on Monday by a police team deployed from the temporary police post in Rajipur.
Similarly, Dayaram Rana, 32, a resident of Laljhadi Rural Municipality-4, Kanchanpur, was arrested for absconding after being fined Rs 1,000 in a cheque dishonor case. Rana was taken into custody by a police team deployed from the District Police Office Kailali on Monday. He was apprehended at Court Road, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-1, and later presented to the District Court Kailali.
