School entrance gate collapse claims life of student in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A tragic incident occurred in Kailali, where a student lost his life after the collapse of a school entrance gate.

The main entrance gate of Janata Secondary School in Gadaria, Kailari Rural Municipality-9, fell, resulting in the death of 8-year-old Pravesh Rana, son of Naresh Rana. According to the District Police Office, Kailali, the collapse caused a severe head injury, leading to his demise.

Another 8-year-old, Sameer Chaudhary, son of Mukesh Chaudhary, who was playing nearby, sustained injuries in the incident. Sameer is currently undergoing treatment at Nirsag Hospital in Dhangadhi.

Kailali Police stated that an investigation into the incident is underway.
