Fugitive convicted in child sexual abuse case arrested in Dadeldhura

Dadeldhura: A fugitive convicted in a child sexual abuse case has been apprehended in Dadeldhura.

Kale Kami, a 50-year-old resident of Jogbudha, Parshuram Municipality-12, had been on the run after being sentenced by the Dadeldhura District Court. Kami was convicted and sentenced to three months in prison, along with fines of Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 10,000 for the offense.

A police team from the Dadeldhura District Police Office arrested Kami on Tuesday at his residence. Authorities have confirmed that he is now in custody.
