Embankment work underway on Gadbadi river in Godavari

Dhangadhi: Embankment construction has commenced on the Gadbadi River in Godavari Municipality, Kailali. The project focuses on the river located in Godavari Municipality-12.

According to the municipality, the embankment work was initiated to mitigate the flood risk faced annually by the Shaileshwari and Janaprabhat Tole settlements. The floods from the Gadbadi River have repeatedly endangered these areas, prompting efforts to safeguard the communities and resolve the recurring problem.
