Four arrested with drugs in Kailali and Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: Four youths have been arrested in separate drug-related incidents in Kailali and Kanchanpur districts, with three individuals apprehended in Kanchanpur and one in Kailali.

On Sunday evening, Rahul Dagoura, 23, and Sanju Dagoura, 25, both residents of Aithpur, Bhimdatta Municipality-6, Kanchanpur, were arrested with 380 milligrams of drugs at Triveni Chowk in Aithpur. A joint police team from the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, and the Narcotics Control Bureau branch office conducted the operation.

In another incident, Tekraj Joshi, 30, also from Bhimdatta Municipality-6, was arrested with 140 milligrams of drugs in Bhimdatta Municipality-3, Bhansi, on Sunday afternoon. The arrest was made by the same police team.

Meanwhile, in Kailali, 20-year-old Bishal Chaudhary, a resident of Narayanpur, Tikapur Municipality-6, was arrested near the Khakrola Bridge in Tikapur Municipality-9. He was found in possession of 1 gram 940 milligrams of drugs while allegedly transporting them from India to Nepal. Police from Kalakunda Police Station carried out the operation.

The police have taken all four individuals into custody for further investigation.
