Fugitive in drug case arrested in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A fugitive accused in a drug-related case has been arrested in Kailali.

The arrested individual, identified as 24-year-old Kumar Gharti Magar of Tikapur Municipality-1, had been on the run following his sentencing by the District Court Kailali. Magar was sentenced to one month and 29 days of imprisonment for his involvement in a drug case but had been absconding.

A police team from the Area Police Office Tikapur apprehended Magar at his residence on Saturday, bringing him into custody.
