Two arrested with nearly three kilos of hashish in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Two individuals have been arrested in Kailali for possession of nearly three kilograms of hashish.

Arjun Budha, 28, and Birendra Budha, 27, residents of Pachaljharana Rural Municipality-6, Kalikot, were apprehended with 2 kilograms and 75 grams of hashish on the south side of the East-West Highway in Lamkichuha Municipality-3, Chisapani Khaireni.

Acting on specific intelligence, a joint police team from the Area Police Office, Chisapani, Kailali, and the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur, detained the two suspects on Friday. Further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
