Police seize customs evasion goods from multiple locations in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Authorities have confiscated customs evasion goods from various locations across Kailali.

The seized goods, valued at approximately Rs. 2,95,460, were recovered from areas including Dhangadhi-3 Milan Chowk, Dhangadhi-18 Thapaghat, the Bhimdatta highway near Vannadevi temple in Godavari-4, the inner road section of Tose Bazar in Tikapur-9, and Joshipur-3 Bhitaria.

The police patrol team, deployed from District Police Office Kailali and its subordinate offices, seized items including onions, sugar, sweets, jaggery, soap, tobacco, bidi, peanuts, blouses, kurtis, suits, green chilies, churan, and various auto-lock products. The items were reportedly smuggled from India and have been taken into custody.
