Nepal Airlines conducts test flight at Tikapur airport
Dhangadhi: Nepal Airlines has completed a test flight at Tikapur Airport in Kailali.
The flight saw Civil Aviation Authority spokesperson Gyanendra Bhool, Captain Mahesh Bishta, Ujjwal Silwal, Engineer Samrat Pradhan, and other technicians landing at Tikapur. Minister of State for Tourism and Civil Aviation Arun Kumar Chaudhary was also present in Tikapur for the test, organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation.
Previously, flights from Tikapur connected to Sanfebagar, Jumla, Kathmandu, Dhangadhi, and Nepalganj in Achham. Tikapur Municipality head Ramlal Dagaura Tharu emphasized the need for federal government support in securing aircraft and addressing local demands. Former Tourism Minister Lokendra Bishtamar had also conducted a test flight at Tikapur Airport.
