House robbed in Dhangadhi: Gold, silver, and three cash boxes stolen
Dhangadhi: A theft occurred at the residence of Shanti Bista in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan-4, New Road area, Kailali. Burglars targeted the house while it was unoccupied, stealing cash, gold, silver, and three cash boxes.
Bista, the homeowner, reported that the theft happened while she was visiting Kaluwapur in Jhalari, Kanchanpur. Upon returning this morning, she found the gate lock broken and valuables missing. She stated that approximately 13-14 thousand rupees in cash, 12 annas of gold, three pairs of silver bangles, and three large cash boxes had been taken after the burglars broke open a drawer.
The incident has been reported to the police, and Bista mentioned that the locks on the channel gate had been forcibly opened during the robbery.
