Wheelchairs distributed to disabled children in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: In a special campaign organized by the Nepali Congress Provincial Assembly (2) Working Committee, wheelchairs were distributed to disabled children in Shuklaphanta Municipality-5 on Tuesday.

Bahadur Singh Thapa, Economic Affairs Minister of Sudurpaschim Province, distributed wheelchairs to 14 physically challenged children from Shuklaphanta and Bedkot municipalities. The initiative, led by Jotsana Saud, Central Vice President of Ruduk Nepal, aimed to assist children who are unable to walk.

Minister Thapa also pledged further support, including organizing programs to promote self-employment for disabled individuals, alongside the provision of assistive devices.
