Fugitives in forest and drug cases arrested in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: Two fugitives, wanted in forest and drug-related cases, have been arrested in Kanchanpur. Sanjay Thapa, 30, of Bhimdatta Municipality-4, who was sentenced to two months in prison for a drug-related offense, and Divas Awasthi of Vedkot Municipality-6, sentenced to 17 days in prison and fined Rs. 9,528, were apprehended.

he arrests were made by a police team from the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, following court orders. Both had been absconding after their sentences were handed down by the Kanchanpur District Court.
