Dhangadhi – The CPN-UML Sudurpaschim Parliamentary Party has officially withdrawn its support for Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Dirgha Bahadur Sodari.

Rajendra Singh Rawal, the leader of the CPN-UML Provincial Parliamentary Party, confirmed the withdrawal of support and stated that a formal letter has been submitted to the Secretariat of the Chief Minister and the Office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers.

Chief Minister Sodari, currently in the federal capital for the Congress of United Socialists, was informed of the decision via phone. Rawal stated, "We have withdrawn the support given to the Chief Minister. The letter has been sent with effect from today's date and registered in the Chief Minister's Office and Secretariat.

Following the withdrawal, three ministers from the Sudurpaschim provincial government, representing CPN-UML, have resigned. The ministers include Economic Affairs Minister Surendra Bahadur Pal, Forest, Environment, and Cooperatives Ministry Bir Bahadur Thapa, and Internal Affairs and Law Minister Hira Saki.

Their resignation letters have been sent to UML. This move leaves Chief Minister Sodari in a precarious position as he remains in the federal capital with limited support.
