This decision was made during a meeting of the parliamentary party's secretariat, held on Sunday, which saw the attendance and support of a majority of its members. Following Shrestha's removal, Gangaram Chaudhary Dagoura has been elected as the new leader of the parliamentary party.
This marks a notable change in the party's leadership dynamics. Additionally, Lalbir Chaudhary has been appointed as the new chief whip, replacing Gangaram Chaudhary Dagoura, who previously held the position.
The party has indicated that the official letter regarding these leadership changes will be submitted to the Parliament Secretariat today. Party leader Gangaram Chaudhary emphasized the importance of these changes in a statement, expressing confidence in the newly appointed leaders and their capacity to guide the party forward.
