Young Man Arrested for Murdering Elderly Woman in Bajhang

Dhangadhi — A tragic incident has occurred in Bajhang, where a 36-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of a 70-year-old woman.

The suspect, Harjit Bahadur Patli of Bungal Municipality-11 Lower Maurebanj, allegedly killed the 70-year-old woman in Thulia. On Tuesday night, Harjit Bahadur, reportedly under the influence of drugs, assaulted the woman, resulting in her death at the scene.

A joint team from the Temporary Police Post Putilek and the District Police Office, Bajhang, apprehended him shortly after the incident. The police are conducting a detailed investigation into the murder to uncover further details.
