Krishna Dhami, Convicted of Killing His Wife in Baitadi, Remanded to Jail

Baitadi: Following the brutal killing of his wife in Baitadi, 63-year-old Krishna Dhami has been incarcerated.

Dhami fatally struck his wife with a spade on the 8th of Chaitra. Acting Chief Inspector Nandaraj Joshi of the District Police Office in Baitadi confirmed that the District Court ordered his imprisonment today (Sunday).

The incident unfolded on the morning of the 8th of Chaitra when Dhami attacked his wife, 56-year-old Parvati Dhami, along with Dilashaini Rural Municipality employees Subas Kalouni and Devraj Bhatt, who were present at her residence. Unfortunately, Dhami's wife succumbed to her injuries on the same day while undergoing treatment. While Kalouni has been discharged following medical attention, Bhatt continues to receive treatment at Nepalgunj Nursing Home.
