Chief Administrative Officer of Marma Rural Municipality Allegedly Starts Fire at His Own Residence

Darchula: Shocking revelations have emerged in Darchula as it has been disclosed that Roshan Adhikari, the Chief Administrative Officer of Marma Rural Municipality, allegedly initiated the fire at his own residence.

On the night of Falgun 24, an unsettling incident involving arson and stone pelting occurred at the chief administrative officer's residence within the premises of Marma Rural Municipality in Darchula. Initially attributed to an unidentified group, a thorough investigation by the police uncovered evidence implicating the chief administrative officer in the deliberate ignition of the fire.

Subsequently, on Sunday, law enforcement officials apprehended Adhikari on charges of setting fire to the government residence. Gyanendra Wahadur Singh, Police Inspector at the District Police Office Darchula, confirmed the arrest, stating that it transpired following a formal complaint filed by the rural municipality.

This development has sparked widespread concern and demands for further investigation into the motives behind such actions within the administrative hierarchy.
