Three Fugitives Apprehended in Baitadi in Connection with Explosives Case
Baitadi: In a significant development, authorities in Baitadi have successfully apprehended three fugitives implicated in a case involving explosives.
Nanda Raj Joshi, spokesperson for the District Police Office Baitadi, confirmed the arrest of 44-year-old Narayan Singh Airi, 47-year-old Arjun Singh Rawal, and 51-year-old Bhimsingh Thagunna, all residents of the same locality. The trio had been sentenced to 1 month and 19 days in prison for their involvement in the explosives case.
According to Police spokesperson Joshi, the fugitives had evaded arrest since the day of their sentencing, but were apprehended today (Wednesday) by law enforcement officials. They were promptly presented before the district court to face legal proceedings.
In a related development, authorities had also successfully apprehended an individual wanted in connection with a separate case of killing on duty on Tuesday in Baitadi.
