Tragic Death in Darchula as Man Falls from Cliff

Darchula: A somber incident unfolded in Darchula as a man lost his life tragically after falling from a cliff.

Dal Bahadur Dhami, aged 53 and a resident of Naugad Rural Municipality-5e Ghatteksad, met with a fatal accident when he fell from a hill. Dhami, who had ventured to Hoparigad, the heart of Naugad Rural Municipality, on Friday, tragically did not return home that night.

According to Darchula Police Inspector Gyanendra Bahadur Singh, Dhami had attended the establishment day event of Naugad Rural Municipality on Friday and is believed to have fallen from the hill while returning home.

The body of Dhami has been transferred to Gokuleswar Hospital for post-mortem examination, as investigations into the incident have been initiated by the police.

This unfortunate event serves as a poignant reminder of the hazards posed by the rugged terrain, prompting authorities to emphasize safety measures to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
