Nepal Police Wives Association Initiates Temple Complex Clean-Up in Celebration of International Women's Day and Mahashivratri
Dhangadhi: The Nepal Police Wives Association of Sudurpaschim Province took a proactive step towards cleanliness by spearheading a clean-up drive in the Shiv temple complex.
In commemoration of the 114th International Women's Day and Mahashivratri, the Nepal Police Wives Sangha Sudurpaschim Province organized a cleaning campaign at the Shivpuridham Shiva Temple, situated in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-4, on Tuesday morning. Embracing the ethos that service is akin to religion, the association undertook this endeavor as part of their social and humanitarian service initiatives.
The event saw the participation of esteemed figures such as Senior Superintendent of Police Delhiraj Bista from the Far West Province Police Office in Dhangadhi, Chief Superintendent of Police Prem Bahadur Basnet from the Nepal Police Special Security Squad in Mahendranagar, Superintendent of Police Debendra Bahadur Pal, Chief Superintendent of Police from the Far West Province Police Squad in Dhangadhi, and Chief Superintendent of Police Padma Bahadur Bista from the District Police Office Kailali.
Additional dignitaries present at the program included Deputy Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar Upreti representing the Nepal Police Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office in Attaria, Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police Dr. Nabin Lageju from the Sudurpaschim Province Police Hospital in Dhangadhi, along with other dedicated police officers and soldiers. Mamta Bista Malasi, Program Secretary of the Nepal Police Wife Association of Sudurpaschim Province, and Baldev Prasad Bhatt, Chairman of the Temple Management Committee, also graced the occasion with their presence.
