Tragic Electrocution Incident Claims Life of Individual in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A fatal electrocution incident has occurred in Kailali, resulting in the untimely demise of one individual. The incident took place in Tikapur Municipality of the district, where a 33-year-old man lost his life after being electrocuted by an internet wire.

The victim, identified as Shailesh Bhul from Bardia, was employed at a local hotel when the tragic accident occurred due to the alleged negligence of an internet service provider company in Tikapur Municipality-1, Jamra Pari. Despite immediate medical attention at Tikapur Hospital, Bhul succumbed to his injuries during treatment, as confirmed by DSP Vishwaraj Adhikari, Head of the Area Police Office Tikapur.

Local residents have voiced concerns over the mishandling of wires by the internet service provider company, attributing the incident to the presence of scattered wires in the area. The body of the deceased has been retained at the hospital for post-mortem examination, as authorities continue their investigation into the matter.
