Auditions Conclude for SEE Idol in Dhangadhi, Trinagar Secondary School Hosts Final Round
Dhangadhi: The auditions for SEE Idol have drawn to a close in Kailali, with the culmination of the 25th audition of the third edition at Trinagar Secondary School in Dhangadhi on Friday.
In the State Youth Council's SEE Idol auditions, seven participants showcased their singing talents, while six exhibited their dancing prowess, totaling to 13 performances. Contestants were provided with scholarship coupons and SEE support booklets free of charge.
Moving forward, auditions are set to commence in hill districts from the upcoming week. Janakalyan Mavi in Sanfebagar, Achham, and Malika Sample Mavi in Martadi, Bajura, are slated as the next audition venues.
The SEE Idol auditions span over 30 locations in the Far West region. Eligible participants include students who have appeared for SEE this year, with opportunities available for both dancing and singing talents. Audition competitions are scheduled to take place across nine districts of Far West from October to Falgun.
The top 30 contestants from both the dance and singing categories will advance to the second round, scheduled for Baisakh, 2081. Subsequently, the top 15 contestants from the second round in each category will progress to the finals set for Asardha 1, 2081. Winners and runners-up from both categories will be awarded full scholarships for classes 11th and 12th, along with cash prizes of 50,000 NPR and 25,000 NPR respectively. Additionally, the top five contestants in each category will receive partial scholarships for classes 11th and 12th.
