Baitadi: In a distressing incident in Baitadi, 70-year-old Dura Joshi from Patan Municipality-5, Dhanchuli, sustained serious injuries following an attack by a wild boar.
The incident unfolded yesterday afternoon, as reported by Parvati Chand, a member of Patan Municipality-5. Joshi, who had ventured into a field near her residence to graze goats, fell victim to the aggressive assault by a wild boar. The elderly woman was left seriously injured as a result of the encounter.
Prompt response from the community led to Joshi receiving medical attention, and she is currently undergoing treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi. The incident serves as a reminder of the potential dangers posed by wildlife encounters, particularly in rural areas.
