Tragic Jeep Accident Claims Life of Teenager in Baitadi; Several Others Injured

Dhangadhi: A sorrowful incident unfolded in Baitadi as a fatal jeep accident resulted in the untimely death of 15-year-old Manisha Bishta from Dogdakedar Rural Municipality-8 Kalagaon. The tragic incident occurred in Katauj Pani of Dogdakedar Rural Municipality Ward No. 2 within the district, involving a Sudurpaschim Province 0100J 1537 Bolero jeep. The accident left seven other individuals injured.

The injured, identified as 50-year-old Bire Luhar of Kalagaon, 26-year-old Ghumra Bista, 40-year-old Krishna Bista, 70-year-old Harimaya Bista, 17-year-old Mahesh Bista, and 30-year-old Zipbhupendra Bista, are currently receiving medical attention at District Hospital Baitadi. The condition of the driver is reported to be critical, as stated by the Baitadi District Police Office.

The jeep, carrying a total of eight occupants, reportedly veered off the road, plunging 50 meters down, leading to this unfortunate incident. The local authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident to determine its cause.
