Ticket Scam Unveiled at Attariya Festival: Association Files Complaint Against Two Individuals
Dhangadhi: The Attariya Industry and Commerce Association of Kailali has officially lodged a complaint with the District Police Office Kailali, urging a thorough investigation into the discovery of counterfeit tickets during the recently concluded festival.
Under the leadership of Kalyansingh Bohara, the president of the association, a formal complaint has been filed against the association's secretary, Dilip Kumar Saund, and Bhuvan Mahara, the president of SWVU (Social Welfare Volunteers' Union) of Durgalakshmi Multiple Campus. The complaint, bearing the signatures of 11 officials, alleges their involvement in the distribution and sale of fraudulent tickets at the Sudurpaschim Provincial Festival hosted by the Attariya Industry and Commerce Association from January 11th to January 21st.
Mr. Saund, responsible for ticket distribution during the festival, and Mr. Mahara, the president of SWVU overseeing ticket sales, now face scrutiny after 28 bags of fake tickets were confiscated in Attariya. The association's move to bring the matter to the attention of law enforcement underscores its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the event and upholding trust within the community.
