Dhangadhi: In a significant announcement, Foreign Minister NP Saud has revealed plans to declare Phapla Cricket Stadium in Kailali as a project of national pride. Emphasizing the role of the sports sector in showcasing the country to the world, he expressed the government's unwavering commitment to advancing infrastructure in the realm of sports.

"We are declaring Fapla Stadium as a proud project. Procedural matters are underway in this regard. Sports play a pivotal role in making the country known to the world," stated Minister Saud during the inauguration of the Chief Minister's Cup men's volleyball tournament at Bhimdatta Municipality-4 in Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur on Sunday.

Minister Saud highlighted that infrastructure development remains a top priority for the government, underscoring the vital role it plays in fostering a thriving sports culture within the nation.
