Arrest Made as Individual Living with In-Laws in Kailali Found in Possession of Loaded Gun

Dhangadhi: Law enforcement in Kailali successfully apprehended a 37-year-old individual, identified as Bir Bahadur Dhami from Kedarsyun rural municipality-6 of Bajhang, who was residing as a son-in-law in Sasurali, Chure Rural Municipality-3 Salleri.

The arrest took place on Saturday evening when a police team from the District Police Office acted upon information suggesting that Bir Bahadur Dhami was harboring a loaded gun. The suspect had been living in the residence of Lakshmidevi Dhami for the past 12 to 13 years.

During a thorough search, the police team located and confiscated the loaded gun from Bir Bahadur Dhami, leading to his immediate arrest. The authorities are now conducting further investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the possession of the firearm and any potential implications.
