Nepal Paraveterinary and Livestock Association Marks 34th Foundation Day with a Successful Free Animal Health Camp in Kailali
Dhangadhi: Celebrating its 34th foundation day, the Nepal Paraveterinary and Livestock Association (NEVLA) organized a noteworthy one-day free animal health camp in collaboration with the District Action Committee Kailali. The event, hosted at the Garbha Darwar complex, received support from the Veterinary Hospital and Animal Services Expert Center Dhangadhi and garnered sponsorship from various pharmaceutical companies. The initiative was further bolstered through collaboration with Chure Rural Municipality Ward No. 4.
Under the esteemed chairmanship of NEVLA Kailali President Bimal Jogi, the camp welcomed Chief Guest Dr. Hemraj Awasthi, Head of Veterinary Hospital and Animal Services Expert Center Dhangadhi, Special Guest Dr. Lokendra Neupane from the Animal Disease Research Laboratory Dhangadhi, Special Guest NEVLA Provincial Coordinator and Central Vice President Dhan Bahadur Chaudhary, NEVLA Central Member Kaviraj Kathayat, NEVLA Soup Training Department Incharge Deepak Chaudhary, Veterinary Hospital Doctor Milan Khanal, Chure Rural Municipality Ward No. 4 Member Tek Bahadur Saund, and other dignitaries.
During the program, a total of 79 households in the Garbha area received veterinary treatment for their animals, coupled with the distribution of essential medicines. As a testament to comprehensive care, pet dogs were also vaccinated against rabies. President Jogi expressed his gratitude for the community's participation and support.
Dr. Hemraj Awasthi, recognizing the longstanding contribution of NEVLA, emphasized the tangible benefits farmers have derived from the organization's consistent efforts. He acknowledged, "Farmers have reaped rewards not only through the government's initiatives but also through collaborative efforts with various professional organizations." Dr. Awasthi affirmed his commitment to future cooperation in NEVLA's endeavors, extending wishes for continued success.
