Baitadi District Cricket Association Unveils Annual BDCCA Cup in One Day Format

Baitadi: The much-anticipated BDCCA Cup, organized by the Baitadi District Cricket Association, is set to commence on December 2nd in Baitadi. In a departure from previous years' T20 format, this edition of the cricket tournament will be played in a 50-overs per side format, according to Vinod Bahadur Chand, the President of Baitadi District Cricket Association.

Chand revealed that a total of 14 clubs affiliated with the association will participate in the competition. All matches of the BDC Cup will unfold at the Dasharatchand Cricket Ground in Sundarkhali, as announced by cricket coach Dipendra Bohra.

Notably, players under the age of 16 will not be eligible for participation, and each team is limited to including only four players above the age of 23. The Baitadi District Cricket Association disclosed that the victorious team will be presented with a trophy, medal, and certificate, along with a cash prize of Rs 50,000, while the runner-up will receive a trophy, medal, and certificate along with a cash reward of Rs 35,000. Cricket enthusiasts and supporters eagerly await the unfolding of the tournament, anticipating spirited matches and remarkable performances from the participating teams.
