Arrest Made in Alleged Rape Case of Mentally Unstable Woman in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A 30-year-old mentally unstable woman in Dhunge Bazar, Lamkichuha Municipality-3 of Kailali district, has reportedly been a victim of rape. The District Police Office Kailali confirmed the arrest of a 45-year-old local resident, Prakash Jaisi, on charges related to the alleged crime.

According to law enforcement sources, the incident occurred around 6 o'clock on Wednesday evening when the victim was alone at home. Acting swiftly upon receiving information about the incident, a team led by Police Inspector Hariram Dangi apprehended Jaisi.

The police have stated that the victim's mental condition was not optimal at the time of the incident. The arrest marks a crucial development in the ongoing investigation into this distressing case.
