Jeep Accident in Doti Leaves Driver and Passenger Injured

Doti: A Bolero jeep, bearing the registration number Sudurpaschim Province 03001 J 005, met with an accident in Doti on Sunday afternoon, according to Nishant Srivastava, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Doti. The incident occurred at KI Singh Rural Municipality-2, Buhar, as the vehicle was en route from Bogtan Fudsil Rural Municipality to Dipayal.

The driver, 30-year-old Tek Bahadur Bhat, and the 19-year-old passenger, Birendra Bohara from Bogtan Fudsil Rural Municipality-2, Kanachour, sustained injuries in the accident. Both individuals are currently receiving medical attention at Sujung Hospital in Rajpur, with authorities confirming that their conditions are stable. The accident involved the jeep veering off the road and plummeting approximately 60 meters.

It was reported that only two individuals were present in the jeep at the time of the incident. Local law enforcement is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident to ascertain the cause and contributing factors.
