Elderly Priest Missing in Baitadi, Search Operation Underway

Baitadi: Madhav Bhatt, a 58-year-old priest residing in Dasharatchand Municipality-1 Srikhand Jalaghar, has been missing for three days, raising concerns among his family and the local community. Bhatt mysteriously disappeared from his residence on Thursday night, the 23rd of Kartik, leaving his family in distress.

Bhagarathi Bhatt, the daughter-in-law of the missing individual, revealed that Madhav Bhatt had retired to bed after a meal when he vanished without a trace. Despite ongoing efforts to locate him, including a formal report filed with the local police, there has been no sign of his whereabouts.

Madhav Bhatt, known for his role as a priest dedicated to the Maharudra deity, has garnered widespread support from the community in the search for his whereabouts. The family, along with local authorities, is tirelessly working to uncover any leads that may assist in locating the missing individual.

Assistant Police Inspector Deb Bahadur Thapamargar, the in-charge of the area police office in Gurukhola, confirmed that a comprehensive search operation is currently underway.
