Bus and Jeep Collision in Bajhang Area

Dhangadhi: In a recent incident, a bus and a jeep collided in Bajhang, specifically at Bagthala, situated within Ward Number 4 of Kedarsyun Rural Municipality, along the Khodpe-Bajhang Jaiprithwi highway.

The collision involved a bus registered as Karnali River Side Transport Pvt. No. 01001 B 3279, operated by Karnali River Side Transport Pvt. Ltd., en route from Bajhang to Dhangadhi, and a jeep bearing the registration Sudur Paschim Pradesh No. 01001 Ch 3613, which was traveling from Dhangadhi to Bajhang. This unfortunate incident occurred near the temporary traffic police checkpoint in Bagthala, transpiring on a Monday afternoon.

Thankfully, local law enforcement reported that there were no casualties resulting from the accident. However, both the bus and the jeep sustained damage to their front ends as a result of the collision. In response to the incident, authorities at the temporary traffic checkpoint in Bagthala took both drivers into custody for further inquiries and investigations.
