Individual Missing, Feared Drowned in Karnali River in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A person is currently missing, feared to have drowned in the Karnali River in Kailali.

The missing individual has been identified as 49-year-old Ganesh Pokharel, residing in the same ward. The incident occurred when Ganesh was riding on a stone near the Karnali River, located within Lamki Chuha Municipality-3 of the district.

In response to this unfortunate event, seven police teams, under the guidance of an Assistant Inspector of Police, have been swiftly deployed to the area to initiate search and rescue efforts. Their primary objective is to locate and ensure the safety of the missing individual.
